Central Arkansas Woodturners, Inc. invites you to join
with us to share and learn the ins and outs of turning wood. We have
beginners as well as those who have a long history of woodturning.
Our oldest member is 95, our youngest is an elementary
student.
Several of our members have been fortunate enough to attend professionally led training programs. The rest of us are fortunate in that they act as our mentors, teachers and guides. We are a friendly, informal group that gets together to teach and learn, watch demonstrations, talk tools, jigs, machinery and techniques and swap, buy & sell wood of every size and description. We have a comprehensive library of periodicals, books, tapes and CDs on every aspect of woodturning. These materials are available to our members. Perhaps the best part is NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED to become a member and VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME . |
